The Walt Disney Company MENA appointed Brazen as its retained GCC agency from 2017 to 2020, across every vertical — Marvel, Pixar, LucasFilm, studios, retail, fashion and Disney Junior.

The brief was to establish a high-impact, multi-stakeholder PR function for one of the world's most iconic brands and deliver against it, consistently, across four years.

Strategy

We ran a high-performing press office, tightly managed events and IP-compliant campaigns across entertainment, lifestyle and consumer verticals — working in lockstep with the TWDC global team at every stage.

We amplified the IP through activations that connected directly to the region: projecting Avengers: Infinity War onto the Burj Khalifa, taking Baby Groot across Dubai's most iconic landmarks, and launching the Star Wars Collection with a streamed catwalk show for tier-one media and influencers.

The centrepiece was the first Middle East in-market talent premiere — a three-day press junket in Amman for the live-action Aladdin, featuring Will Smith and Guy Ritchie. Brazen managed everything. It delivered one of the most talked-about moments in regional PR: Will Smith facilitating Kris Fade's marriage proposal, live, in front of the assembled GCC press.
